Borislav passed away on 15/01/17 after being admitted to Southampton General Hospital on 10/01/2017. He had underlying intestitial lung disease which is likely to have resulted from his premature birth. He was admitted to hospital following having high temperature and low oxygen levels and was diagnosed with pneumonia. His condition deteriorated within days and he was mechanically intubated. The cause of the infection is unknown and despite the doctors giving Borislav 5 strong antibiotics, his organs started to fail and on 15th January he suffered a catastrophic cerebral infarction.
